Making Our Entrance

One of the aspects of our wedding that I had put a lot of thought into, was our entrance. I had been thinking for at least 2 years that "Ain't No Other Man" would be a great song to use. I remember long before we were even engaged, I would listen to it on my mp3 player and imagine dancing up the stairs and into our wedding reception. When we arrived at the hall, our wedding party was gathered outside with our DJ. He was telling them how they were going to enter and what were were going to do. He had this funny idea that the wedding party would all line up on the dance floor and when James & I entered, we would go down the line and high-five them all . It turned out kinda funny. The guys also all wore sunglasses to that they would look extra pimp. haha! :-)

We were all standing outside and then I heard the music start. It is so exciting when a day dream turns into reality. It's funny how the unexpected little things can hit you. Hearing the first few notes of that song really got to me. I felt a wave of emotion.I couldn't' believe that my wedding day had finally arrived. I couldn't believe that I was standing at the bottom of those stairs. The entire day was a blur and a fairytale.

I heard Christina Aguilera start to belt it out, and our DJ began to introduce everyone. One by one, or in pairs, we all danced up the stairs and out onto the dance floor.
